September, 2009

Well, fall is here and that means that our first official school hear has begun. Jason is now a full-fledged Kindergartener and he is very excited to be attending Hillsdale Elementary School.

He had such a blast the first day that Stacie had to go onto the bus to retrieve him because he fell asleep on the way home.

October 20, 2008 - Finally, Some Good News!

Well it is about time that we can share some good news on this site.

We are happy to announce that there will be another addition to our little family coming this spring. Stacie is pregnant with numero tre and due at the end of April. The first ultrasound (taken a little over a month ago) can be seen to the right. This one has been a little more difficult on Stacie than the other two, but now that she is through the first trimester she is feeling much better.

Jason and Shawn are very excited to have a new little brother or sister... especially since it means they will be able to share a room and Jason will be able to move up to the top bunk.

We will post the new pictures that actually look human in a few weeks when we go for the next ultrasound.

October 5, 2008 - Another Sad Farewell

Inky and Guinness

Today was the day that we had to say goodbye to Inky and Guinness. Though our kitties have been with us for 12 years, the kids' health has to come first.

We were able to find a very kind young woman that just moved into an apartment by herself and needed some company. She saw the flyer with their picture and fell in love with Guinness right away. She understood that they could not be separated and agreed to adopt both of them. Once she met Inky she fell in love all over again.

We are sad to see them go, but happy to be able to say they are in a good home. We may even be able to see them again looking out the window of their new home five stories above Gay Street in downtown West Chester.

Inky and Guinness, we will miss you!

September 5, 2008 - A Sad Farewell

Buddy and Sage

As many of you may know, we have had some tough decisions to deal with recently. Because both Jason and Shawn were diagnosed with severe cat and dog allergies we have been forced to find new homes for our four-legged family members.

While we are still looking for a home for the cats we were able to find a good home for Buddy and Sage. Today Stacie and I took them to meet their new family in Princeton, NJ. They will be bringing new joy to two new young boys and their parents who had the unfortunate experience of losing their dog (that apparently looked a lot like Buddy) while on vacation this summer.

This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do, but we know it is for the best. We love you and we will miss you Buddy and Sage.
